The Coach House

On the grounds, there is a lovely, modern Coach House with a charming garden and views of the lake. It is located in a separate building which includes the garage, laundry facilities, and orangerie, next to the pool. The Coach House can be used in many different ways—as a private hideaway, additional living quarters, or accommodations for staff or extra guests.

The floor plan of the Coach House is spacious, comfortable and modern, with simple and attractive décor. The massive beams used in the original construction add character and charm. The combined living and dining room opens onto a beautiful airy solarium, furnished with sofa and armchairs. There are two sofas and a sofa-bed in the living room. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, including its own dishwasher.

For entertainment, the Coach House has satellite television with a VCR that plays British, American, and European-format tapes. It also includes a full stereo system, and telephone services with an intercom to the chateau.

Sleeping arrangements are easy. There are three bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed (140cm, 55” across) and two with twin beds. The bathroom is newly tiled, with a tub and overhead shower. There is a WC upstairs and another on the ground floor.

Off the living room, there is a spacious all glass conservatory with views of the fountain in the lake and its own secluded garden. The conservatory has a sofa, two arm chairs, and a coffee table. It is open and airy, yet private.

The multi-purpose Coach House is a wonderful bonus that adds flexibility to the accommodations at this spectacular chateau.
