Bike rides & jogging
Since the Chateau is situated on the flat lands between the rivers Loire and Vienne it is possible to enjoy gentle bike rides or jogging trails away from traffic.
The trails lead through miles of woods, along river banks and open fields where the only likely encounters are with four legged farm animals with the music of the birds.
The owner has detailed a selection of bike rides that on the whole are easy. In the orangery there is a very detailed local map from which it is possible to plan one's own ride or run.
A very good combination is for a party or group to ride/run with the others bringing the picnic tables and chairs for a luncheon beside the river.
There is a small selection of bikes at the chateau, others can be rented locally.
